Perched above the Amalfi Coast at nearly 300 meters, Villa Cimbrone is one of Italy's most storied gardens. Its Terrazza dell'Infinito — the Terrace of Infinity — offers a view that has no equal: the Tyrrhenian Sea stretching endlessly to the horizon.
Villa Cimbrone is a five-star boutique hotel with just 19 rooms — each one uniquely appointed and set within the historic estate. We are holding a room block exclusively for our guests and will share full details, room options, and pricing once we've heard from everyone.

Ravello is one of Italy's most enchanting hilltop villages — perched high above the Amalfi Coast with breathtaking views, lush gardens, and centuries of history to discover. We can't wait for you to experience it with us. Here are some of our personal recommendations.
Learn the art of Neapolitan cooking right in Ravello. Choose from a Pizza Experience — where you'll master the technique and secrets of a true Neapolitan pizza — or a Cooking Course, a 3-hour class where you'll prepare a full 4-course Italian menu.
A cooking class and lemon tour all in one. Visit a local farm to learn about growing and harvesting lemons, take a break in the lemon groves while tasting lemon cake and fresh lemonade, explore the Museum of Arts and Crafts, and finish at the limoncello factory to see how it's made — and taste the results.
The nearest international airport is Naples Capodichino (NAP), about a 1.5 hour drive to Ravello.
Rome Fiumicino International Airport (FCO) is another great option, approximately 3.5–4 hours away —
particularly if you plan to travel through Italy before making your way down to the Amalfi Coast.
From Naples airport, we recommend travelling via private car directly to Ravello.
We highly recommend you do not rent a car during your stay. The Amalfi Coast is known for its narrow,
winding roads, limited parking, and specific driving restrictions that can make navigating the area challenging.
Take a train to Salerno or Naples. Tickets can be purchased via
Trenitalia or
Italo Treno.
From Naples Central Station: Continue by private transfer.
From Salerno: Take a ferry to Amalfi, then a local bus or private car service up to Ravello.
From Naples, Sorrento, or Positano, you can take a ferry to Amalfi via misterferry.com. Once in Amalfi, Ravello is just a 15-minute drive or bus ride uphill. The public bus company is called SITA — tickets can be purchased at local tabacchi shops or online via the Unico Campania app.
Villa Cimbrone is only accessible by foot through the charming pedestrian walkways of Ravello. If you are staying on the outskirts of Ravello, your taxi or private car will likely drop you off at Piazza Duomo (the main square), from which it is approximately a 10–15 minute walk along uneven cobblestone paths to the villa. We recommend wearing comfortable flats for the walk and bringing your heels to change into upon arrival. A shoe check will be available at the venue.
If you have any mobility restrictions or concerns about the walk, please let us know in advance via RSVP below. We'd be happy to arrange a porter service to assist you with transportation to the venue.
We've chosen to make our wedding and surrounding events adults-only — so that all guests, especially the parents among you, can relax, let loose, and enjoy a well-deserved night off!
If you'd like to rent a tuxedo locally, our wedding planner recommends Atelier Artina Cerimonia in Naples — a specialist in formal occasion wear. You can browse their offerings at noleggioabiticerimonia.it. We recommend reaching out well in advance to ensure availability and allow time for any fittings.
Late September is one of the most beautiful times of year on the Amalfi Coast. The intense summer heat has faded, the sea is still warm, and evenings are comfortable and pleasant. Here's what to expect around September 25–27:

September does bring the occasional shower, so we recommend packing a light layer or compact umbrella for exploring. For the wedding day itself, plan for a warm, golden afternoon and a beautifully cool evening under the stars.
Your US passport must be valid for at least 3 months after your planned departure from Europe. However, most people recommend having at least 6 months of validity remaining, so double-check the expiration date and renew ahead of time if needed! If you need to renew, U.S. citizens can submit a renewal request online through the U.S. Department of State at travel.state.gov.
There is not currently a travel visa requirement to enter Italy, but we will let you know if that changes!
